    Dicentra (bleeding-heartGreek dís ”twice”, kéntron ”spur”) is a genus of 8 species of perennial herbaceous plants in the fumitory family, many with heart-shapedflowers, native to eastern Asia and North America.

    All parts are poisonous if ingested.
